Reebok Hockey Powers Forward With Victor Hedman

Reebok Hockey is pleased to announce it has signed a multiyear agreement with National Hockey League top prospect, Victor Hedman. The Swedish hockey phenom joins an impressive list of NHL stars, including Sidney Crosby, Pavel Datsyuk, Roberto Luongo and MarcAndre Fleury, as members of the current Reebok Hockey team.



Eligible for the 2009 NHL Entry Draft in Montreal this weekend, Hedman is considered a prime candidate to be picked among the first three overall.

The 200809 Swedish Elite League Rookie of the Year, Hedman turned pro at just 16 years old. He led his Modo team last season with a plus21 rating, adding seven goals and 21 points in 43 games while playing 20 minutes a game on the team's top pairing. Known for his size and remarkable skating ability, he was ranked first overall in the International Scouting Services' preliminary rankings at the beginning of the 200809 season. Following his performance at the 2009 World Junior Championships, Hedman was listed atop the rankings of European skaters by NHL Central Scouting.
